Built a complete legacy-code modernization for KM-Waechter: fixed the wear calculation, handled missing service readings safely, repaired the nightly report’s average and crash path, corrected a hidden mileage-conversion bug in the helpers, and added the missing regression test. Also produced a transparent breakdown-risk analysis from fleet_history.csv that follows the data rather than the misleading mileage assumption, and verified the work with all 11 acceptance checks passing.
