Built and verified a full legacy-code modernization for a fleet-service tool: fixed the wear calculation, handled missing service readings safely, corrected the nightly report’s average and crash path, and found a hidden mileage-conversion bug in the helpers. Also added the missing regression test, preserved the business rules, and delivered a data-driven breakdown-risk analysis plus written acceptance notes documenting what the AI agent got wrong and how the work was checked.
